Toys I've bought & loved
I recommend the toys below, but always caution dog parents to be aware of stuffing & squeakies (they can be dangerous if ingested). The puppies are obsessed with the toys below - get the ball in small when they are a puppy (under 4 mos) & move to the medium size as they grow. It's great b/c they can carry it in their mouths & they think they are hot stuff b/c of that!
Crate
You can start them in a medium crate (which is what they'll grow into) or use the divider that usually comes with it to make their space smaller & then remove it as they grow. I always recommend a crate with 2 openings -trust me, it'll make your life WAY easier with crate placement in different rooms & when traveling. I like the Midwest brand - I use it myself & have felt like it's held up well.
Crate pads
I personally suggest using a bath mat inside a medium crate until they are almost completely potty trained - they fit perfectly! Make sure it has NO plastic backing or ornamental things (such as pom poms) that they can tear off or eat. Chewy also has one that works well, washes great & holds up. You want to start with 2, so you always have one in the wash & a clean one in their crate.
